Who is responsible for your data

Racebench is a trading name of Stuart Pearson, a sole trader in England, who is the data controller. Contact: support@racebench.co.uk.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, password (stored only as a secure hash) and two-factor settings.
• Your settings and systems: the systems you build, simulations, loss limits, commission rate and alert preferences.
• Betting activity through Racebench: paper and live bets placed by your systems or the one-click grid, and their results.
• Billing: handled by Stripe. We keep your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and your plan. We never see or store your full card number.
• Telegram (optional): your Telegram chat ID if you link it for alerts.
• Technical data: server logs with IP addresses, kept for security for up to 30 days.

If you connect a Betfair account, you log in on Betfair's own page. We never see or store your Betfair password, only the access token Betfair issues.

Why we use it

To provide the service you subscribe to (contract), to take payment (contract), to keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests), to apply your loss limits and self-exclusion (contract and legitimate interests), and to meet legal and tax obligations (legal obligation). We don't sell your data or use it for advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

Stripe (payments), Betfair (to place bets you instruct), our email provider (account emails), Telegram (alerts, if you opt in), and our UK hosting provider. Some of these may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. After you close it we delete your data within 90 days, except billing records, which we keep for 6 years for tax.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies, for signing in and security. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
